epiphany

Looking into the mirror, babe in the crook of my arm
his gentle coo's were music to my ears and heart.
He was immersed in yellow terry smiling a perfect toothless grin at me through the glass. The combination of his voice, his smile,
the softness of his hands and the intoxicating smell of his skin
shone so brightly.
I felt loved.
Loved as I never have before.
And I feel I am giving a love like no other.
I cannot explain it, these feelings I feel, the warmth in my heart.



I had the moment today. I wasn't prepared for it, nor did I know if I would ever have it. It's the moment where suddenly everything in your life, in your head & in your soul makes sense. It's the moment that does not define who you are but which makes you appreciate all that you are. Your accomplishments, your beauty. You feel in that moment untouchable. Almost transparent. Almost glowing.

It's a moment that for every single individual is different. Different in the sense that it can represent itself a million ways. It can relate to anything in one's life and come into light when you least expect it.
