"Really! I am 5 months old today!"

Bubba,

Today marks your 5 month old birthday. Your fourth month of life was incredible as you grew so much & learned/discovered so many things. Some days I still cannot believe all that you have accomplished as such a little boy.

You can now roll over all over the place. When you are on your tummy you crunch your feet in under you and are almost ready to do something big - I can feel it.

At supper you drink water from a cup. You prefer a real cup to any sissy baby cup. Some times you take big boy gulps and other times you imitate Julie by sticking your tongue into the cup and lapping up the water. Either way is mighty impressive. You have also started having vegetables as part of your diet. You think this is fuckin' A as you are infatuated with food & consuming it.

Your chattering, giggles and general squawks of enjoyment fill the house with never ending noise. I love it. Who needs a radio when they have you to listen to.

After a brief 24 hours of making strange at daddy you have decided that you quite like him and now burst into smiles whenever you see him. It is adorable. You have also turned into quite the little monkey as you are starting to be just the perfect size to fit on mama's hip. You enjoy this spot and love to hang on tight. I love it too.

Every day is an adventure with you Paul, and every adventure is better then the next.
