Julie's Day

Happy 2nd Birthday Julie!

Julie Boolie today is your birthday and you are two years old.
It is hard for me to believe that you are already two, and on the other hand it feels as if you have been around forever.

You have had such a big year and both me & daddy are so proud of you.

This year you got a baby brother. In the beginning you did not know what to make of him. So you just decided to snub me for a week instead. I want you to know that I understand why you acted that way, it always takes some getting use to when you are not the baby anymore. I am very proud of how you have matured into your big sister role and how now one of your favorite things to do is lay down next to Paul and give him a bath. Thank you for being patient as he pulls and tugs on your face. And for quickly learning what mom means when she says "Gentle Paws".

I love you for many reason Boo, but some of my favorite include:
When just you & I go out for a walk and you look at me like you can't believe that you get me all to yourself. I think you try to be extra good on these walks.
That if you feel it is cold enough you actually some how find a way in between the duvet and it's cover. And then you get stuck and wake me up at 3am while you try to dig yourself out of a corner.
That wiggling ass of yours.
How you just want to be with us. Even of that means riding along in the car while we run errands. You usually luck out with a trip to Burgermaster.
How you love to lay in bed with me, watch bad late night tv and cuddle.
How now, and when I was pregnant, you became much more protective of me & the baby. You are an excellent body guard.

One day Julie we will get another dog (sister) for you and the family. When this day comes do not feel upset or that we are trying to replace you - we are merely trying to let as many people experience you and all the love you have.

I hope that you have a wonderful day & year Muffin.
Thanks for being the best girl.
Mama loves you.
