good day
When people find out that I live in Seattle they automatically assume that it is grey and drizzling 360 days out of the year. When the reality is this city's climate is amazing and quite desirable. Yes, it does rain, but not a huge amount. Not so much that you can float down the street or that you have an emotional funk every year waiting for the sun to come. Last summer we went for 2 months without a single drop of rain and had temperatures so high that the city felt as though it was melting. And this winter we seem to be having cooler temperatures but beautiful blue skies. These kind of days are my favorite. There is something about having the clear blue sky above that makes your mind a little less fuzzy and a bit more jubilent. That combined with the bulbs that seem to be already sprouting in my window box make for an excellent day.
