As of late I have become more concerned, interested in & determined to beat gluten, and it's hold over my body. Celiac disease is really nothing to scoff at. As much as I have brushed it off, ignored it or down played it in the past my body is no longer letting this fly. So in an attempt to grab this bitch by the hair and dominate her once and for all I have dove back into educating myself as much as I can regarding the disease. And more importantly finding ways to live happily without feeling as though my small intestine is going to shoot out. I no longer want the nick name "stink".

The two most challenging issues regarding Celiac disease are:
1. How gluten is in a ridiculously large amount of products - that it shouldn't be.
2. That is is recognized as the number 1 miss-diagnosed/un-diagnosed disease in North America and yet finding products and restaurants to better yourself is not always easy. I'd even take reasonable over easy.

If I do nothing else this year; if every resolution sits untouched, dust bunnies roam the floors and my hair gets bigger than is acceptable, I will combat this. I can loose all urges, inclinations, and cheats with the devil. And I will.

With this old age and greater wisdom I have finally realized that life without donuts is 100 million times better then life with never being able to be 2 steps away from a toilet.

Your hair will never be out of control so long as me and my razor are near...

And I promise to try and not eat those delicious donuts around you. I said try. And I also don't want to see you licking the cinnamon sugar off the stroller like 'someone' else was.
