Fall is officially here in Seattle. Most mornings are filled in with a foggy haze. The air has began to take on a brisk and chilling feeling. The thermostat had to be officially turned on. The streets are lined with trees all in different stages of turning. It looks like an artists palette on my street, I love it. I love the feeling it gives me to breathe in deep and look at all of the changing colors. I have one tree with leaves in such a brilliant shad of orange that they almost look neon. I love Fall, it makes me think of warmth, Thanksgiving, delicious food. This will be the first year that we don't get together with the familia and celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. With our trip to Ottawa and M & T going to play with the Kangaroos it just could not fit in the schedule. It makes me a wee bit melancholy to not be with my family this weekend. Perhaps some medicinal ice cream may be in order.
