Taken on your 6 month birthday, Lopez Island.Mi hijo,
I cannot believe that we are already celebrating your sixth month birthday. In some ways it feels as though you were just a peanut inside of me or a scrunched up new baby just a few days ago, and on another hand it feels as if you have been around forever.
Every month (day & minute) you grow by leaps and bounds. You have officially developed into a full on little boy. A little boy who loves to explore and motor around. Who loves his supper as much as a boob, who will jump for hours in his duck and whose laugh is contagious.
You were such an amazing little traveler on our vacation, you made both Papa and I so proud. I know that your Daddy is looking forward to the day that you and he can have your own boat adventures, and return home with lots of fish and tales of boy'ish things.
Although it makes me a little sad to see how much you have changed since we popped you out it also makes me excited for the future. For many days of your little voice asking questions, your little bum running around the house before bath time and your little arms holding on when we share a hug.
