Since the initial moment I have begun to have them at other times in other places. Yesterday I heard Paul upstairs waking up from his nap, he was not crying so I waited to finish up what I was doing before I went up to check on him. When I got upstairs there he was, laying there in a completely different spot then I left him in staring at his window having a little chat with himself. When I came through the door and he saw me his big eyes looked right into mine and his face transformed into the biggest smile. It was a great moment. At this time in his development where he cannot communicate through speech it is amazing to see him do it in other ways.
