I figure you either believe in fate or you don't. One has to wonder what makes the events and outcomes in our lives happen. How many "shouldas'" do we get? When do we have to give up on the possible outcomes? When do we have to stop saying "if I had only..."? Weeks? Months? Years? If you don't look forward then are you bound to live your life in regret? And if you can't move on how can you seriously settle down and make a 100% commitment to yourself and your relationships. Fate surrounds our lives. It not only effects the BIG picture but the day to day elements. It weaves it's way throughout our relationships, passions, careers, hobbies and lifestyles. It connects everything. It connects the diversities within ourselves. It teaches us that decisions we make do not only effect one part of our life, it effects all parts.

How does one not get caught up in the "what could of been" of life? Our minds are so powerful. They can remember exact details and moments, they make it hard for one to forget. The mind allows us to feel regret. Some people try to live a regret free life, others consume themselves with them. They let these regrets form who they are. Dictate how they should live.

Does fate exist in the sense that your life in already predetermined? That all your experiences have already been mapped out? That there is no way to actually change was has been planned out for you? Isn't it bizarre to think that you could actually have no control over how things will go in your life. Despite your best efforts. I suppose that I believe that our lives had had a little mapping session. But I also think that we all have the control to make these experiences what ever we want them to be. To push the envelope, to give when we have nothing to give, to believe in ourselves. If we all sat back and assumed that the universe would take care of us we wouldn't get very far. It is up to take what were are given and run with it.

How do we know when we have missed out on an opportunity? Do we question? Do we feel it, even before it has happened? Are we meant to have these missed experiences in our lives? Is it fates way of stepping in and guiding us in "the right direction"?

Is fate about gut and instinct? Or is it actually the opposite. Our own built in devices that aid us in difficult times. I always trust my instincts.

If predeterminism exists why is it that some are dealt unfavorable hands why others are dealt pure bliss? Is this the world's way of eliminating the weak - Darwinism. And if you are someone who has been dealt a more challenging hand can you turn it around for good. More people need to believe they can.
