Daily snap shots

This week the city is doing work on the water line which is 2 houses over from our house. So all day long I have gotten to listen to the repetitious ka-thud of a enormous jack hammer pounding away at the street. With the hypnotizing sound comes a force through the ground that has had my entire house shaking with every beat. So every 2 seconds or so you hear the wine glasses going "ching-ching-ching". And every 6 beats or so Julie opens one eye just to ensure that we are all still here and that the house hasn't fallen down or anything.

Paul doesn't seem to notice, but he is not noticing much these days as he is a little drugged up on grape infant Tylenol. My poor little peanut got his 2 month vaccinations yesterday and had to have 5 shots. Two in one leg, three in the other. He was amazing though - only cried at the actually sticking and calmed down as soon as he was in his Papa's arms. The vaccines in combination with the Tylenol made him a tired little man yesterday and a little sore today. Let's just say that we have been having some extra cuddles to help aid the pain. Isn't it nice to know that cuddles can help in doing that? There is something very heart warming about realizing that your love/arms/words can help someone else feel better.
