Big Nerd

Because I am a full blown "TV nerd" I programmed our dvr to record all of the upcoming Christmas Shows that I love so much. There is the perpetual war going on in our home regarding the fact that our vcr is broken and Jamie refuses to buy a new one. He would rather just buy the movies we have on vhs on dvd. That idea is great, in theory, but by the time we have purchased all of the movies, that I cannot live without, dvds will probably be extinct. Never mind the fact that amongst these vhs tapes are all my Christmas specials. So my plan of attack is just to record them, save them on the dvr and play them all year round until he caves either way.
